Photos from NSD

Finally...i am posting photos from National Scrapbook Day weekend!

Thank you to everyone that came and put together a make-n-take and sampled Nichole's Tastefully Simple foods!!

Megan put together this make-n-take...very creative...she had a photo of her two girls in her purse and used the Cosmo Cricket Black-board as the frame! i love it!! So i had to share!

Miss Nichole...working hard at putting together a Mother's Day card! During our lulls between customers we were putting cards together! i should have taken a photo of the card Nichole did for her mom...it was really cute!

Thank you, Nichole for coming over to Blue Earth and helping with NSD!!

Miss Liz...putting together a make-n-take. She did a really cute one too...she turned her tag into a Father's Day card! i had *very* creative girls coming in putting together little tags!!

"eighth street framing"

So sorry i have not posted anything new for awhile...i've been so busy with the new business Brandon and i bought! Barb Pearson is retiring from framing, so Brandon and i bought out Crimson Maple!! So exciting...yet so much to do!! i have been neglecting the scrapbook store... so i had to share why it has been awhile since i have posted anything on the blog. We named the custom frame shoppe...{eighth street framing}...although i am sure it will always be known as "Ankeny's"!! But we had fun choosing a name for the shoppe! We began the "big move" back in the middle of April...it went very well...and since then we have been busy little bees setting everything up, painting, organizing, cleaning, installing new track lights, and preparing for an Open House! Our Open house for the frame shoppe was last Saturday...it went very nicely...well attended!

Here are a couple photos from our new "custom frame shoppe"...enjoy!

Quite literally..."TONS"...of frame mouldings to choose from!
(i've already chosen my favourites!!)

The work area...a little messy...but if it stayed clean that might mean i'm not working hard!!

An "overall" view of the frame shoppe...

Our Open House...
So silly...Rob Hammond wanted to have a ribbon cutting, so we all staged this one! Well, the ribbon was actually cut, so i guess it turned out to be real!!
